Welcome to SISA’s New Website
|
2011 is shaping up to be a good year for ice skating in Singapore. We have already had a figure skating workshop with one of the most famous figure skaters in the world, Michelle Kwan, and we have had a short track speed skating workshop with one of the most famous short track speed skaters in the world, Apolo Ohno.
This month, two important things have happened. Firstly, at the ISU Council Meeting in Helsinki, Finland, the Singapore Ice Skating Association was granted with immediate effect full ISU Membership status in the Figure Skating Branch and was granted provisional ISU Membership for the Speed Skating Branch. Secondly, we are finally launching the new SISA website. I must express my most sincere thanks to figure skating parent, Liza Wang, for her hard work and dedication in helping to get this website up and running.
Please bear with us as some areas are still under development. We welcome any feedback and if you find any errors please contact us so that they can be rectified. We hope to make this site as informative as possible and welcome any articles and pictures that you think would be useful to the rest of the skating community.
